Job Description

We’re looking for a leader with experience at Account Director level in a marketing agency for this exciting new role of Head of Client Services.  Our client is a thriving niche agency that specialises in travel and live events.  Due to the growth of existing and new accounts a senior marketing professional is needed to lead and inspire the account handling teams.  You’ll be working closely with the MD to develop the strategy for the agency and to grow the business.

• Proactive senior client handling on a day to day basis
• Produce outline concepts to be presented to the client
• Maintain outstanding levels of customer service
• Overall management of account teams
• Develop the skills of the team through coaching and mentoring
• Identify and exploit all opportunities to market the company
• Prepare new business proposals and pitches
• Prepare and monitor budgets for all projects and retainers
• Demonstrate good commercial awareness and business acumen

It’s a great team who are doing a great job, so it will take someone special who can maintain the level of motivation and commitment and yet bring to the table new ideas and leadership.  Confidence and communication skills of course are key to the successful transition into this senior role.
