Adam would like to meet..... a highly skilled product management/market development professional, to lead the key product & marketing development for this global manufacturing business, into one of their key verticals.
The key driver of this role is to maximise market share of the assigned product ranges in accordance with Group and Board policy and for the effective market development of channels/customers for the assigned products within the framework of the marketing plan and global company product strategy.
Key components of the role will include;
Responsibility for the launch of new products including initial market research to justify investment, liaison with product development to finalised design, and marketing plan to achieve targeted sales. Ongoing monitoring following launch and recommend any revisions.
The analysis and monitoring of the various markets that the company is involved in and the performance of the company's product within the market, benchmarked against major competitors.
To assist in the maintenance and analysis of competition files and report to management on personnel, products, performance, strengths and weaknesses.
Working with communications/marketing in the effective preparation and text of all literature for the designed products within corporate style, ensuring accuracy of content at all times.
Enhancing the reputation of the company and its products through sound research, detailed analysis, professional interpretation and effective implementation.
Personal qualities
*Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related technical discipline.
*Must be fluent in English.
*Additional major European language would be an advantage though not essential.
*Will have had International commercial exposure and appreciate and enjoy cultural differences.
