Our client is looking to strengthen their account handling team with an experienced account executive/manager, ideally who has worked within a PR agency environment. Good writing skills are essential and a good understanding of, and enthusiasm for, on line communication/social media etc. would be a benefit. The person we are looking for should be a self-starter with a positive attitude and bags of energy, who can grab hold of this amazing opportunity and make it their own. He or she will hit the ground running, managing accounts and campaigns; and be expected to contribute to finding and winning new business
The role requires:
* 3-5 years' work experience
* An understanding and experience of on line PR would be an advantage
* Evidence of experience of writing news and feature releases for trade and consumer and on line publications; selling in stories to journalists, commissioning or directing photography, event management etc
* Good presentation and telephone skills
* A good team player
* Confidence to manage a range of accounts
* Good networking skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Familiarity with all the usual computer programmes
* Full driving licence a must
