We are looking for an experienced Art Editor to work on a fantastic consumer magazine, working for a highly respected and well established publishing company.
You would be working within a small and friendly editorial team where your concepts and ideas will be highly valued. This monthly publication is a home improvement magazine that requires a candidate who can impose a new style and a fresh approach. You would be responsible for the overall design, which means that you need to be highly organised and have a keen eye for detail. This would be an ideal role for an established creative who has a keen interest in home decoration and DIY, and commercial experience in magazine publishing would be required.
The successful candidate would be an Art Editor who has exceptional skills in using Quark and Photoshop and if you have experience in digital photography, this role would suit you perfectly. You are used to liaising with 3 party contacts such as production teams and you’re a person with strong influential skills and a confident manner.
