About the Role

 

We are looking for an Online Digital Experience expert with multi channel Retail experience and web development within an ecommerce environment - to go into a green field site to create best in class customer journey, satisfaction, repeat visits, basket size, fix drop out rates, and test and drive optimal conversion in sales.  This role is not focused on Acquisition or Digital or Social as the team deliver this very well, but is more focused on the customer behavior and influencing it on the website and conversion to sale by adding to the basket  - and you will champion the online customer experience and to create a 'best in class' customer journey.  The successful candidate will have a knowledge of online user experience and the strategy surrounding it.

  • Delivering innovation in the online experience through managing key projects through technical, design and content teams.
  • Strategic development of the online experience.
  • Identification, introduction and implementation of new solutions and technologies to improve the customer experience.
  • Broad understanding of online business management and sales strategies and challenges. 
  • Developing and leading a team of content / UX managers and empower them to provide a world class service.
  • Use of web metrics to continuously monitor all websites to optimize it's design from a customer experience perspective.

What We're Looking For

 

We are looking for an Online Digital Experience expert with multi channel Retail experience and web development within a consumer ecommerce environment.

Knowledge and Skills Required:  

  • Online Customer Experience and Journey experience with a combination of  website development, online marketing, sales, business planning experience preferred.
  • Multi channel retail experience in an e-commerce sales environment.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • A love of all things online.
  • A passion for providing the highest quality Customer Service.
  • An enthusiasm for web usability and product development.  
  • Ideally some team management skills, proven track record of website development as well as experience managing digital agencies and budget.

About the Offer

c£65,000 with £80,000 OTE + benefits package
