Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a global market leader based in the Midlands who are looking to expand their marketing team at a time when business is hugely exciting. They have recently launched a new brand and a brand new website brochure and the business continues to out perform its competitors in within their category. They are now looking to continue their expansion with the recruitment of a strong writer to join their online marketing team. This role is open to candidates who are recent graduates with some commercial writing experience through to more seasoned campaigners. If you are an excellent writer, level of commercial experience is not an issue.

The key skills and experience my client is interested are:

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience and understanding of social media and
  • Stakeholder management and ability to build relationships across the business

My client is looking for a great writer who can produce size-able volumes if added value quality content for commercial and consumer audiences, both originated and re-purposed. This person will need to be a big influencer, able to build relationships with senior staff assertively for comment. As it's the global team, building a great rapport with regional teams is essential. You will also need to be a strategist with the ability to build a communications strategy while at the same time able to take hold of short term opportunities. Finally the role will involve day to day buzz monitoring and web content management.

The role is a 12 month fixed term contract with a very strong likelihood the role will go permanent.
