Job Description

This rapidly expanding IT recruitment specialist is looking to recruit a Marketing Executive/Manager  to support the business managers with all marketing activities. The marketing department is a vital unit which supports and facilitates the growth of the company both internally and externally. Marketing tools such as the company website, email marketing, direct mail, event and giveaways are created and executed to enhance the companies brand, creating a positive awareness amongst clients and candidates alike.

The first part of the role will be to look at the company literature and website and rewrite text where applicable, so strong copywriting skills are essential.

This role would suit someone who has gained a solid chunk of experience as a Marketing Executive and is looking for a step in stone to a Marketing Managers role as with time this role will develop in to a full Marketing Manager position.


 As the Marketing Executive you will coordinate, manager and facilitate the following

  • Event management - to include all budgeting and planning
  • Exhibitions
  • Internal company events - Christmas party, team building exercises
  • Market intelligence - competitor bench marking, analysis of market news
  • Branding
  • Email Marketing
  • Direct mail campaigns
  • Job boards - negotiating contracts, ensuring brand continuity
  • Website - content management, design, implementation of new pages
  • PR - writing copy, establishing contacts setting PR schedules
  • Merchandising and Marketing materials
  • Internal communications
  • Company literature and branding

 The Person:

 You will be educated to degree level in marketing, have strong copy writing skills, marketing experience within a business to business environment where you have worked closely with a direct sales force. A varied exposure across the marketing mix to include PR, Event management, budgetary planning and email/direct marketing experience.
