Marketing Coordinator (leading national charity)
£18,000 plus benefits
Our client, a leading national charity with a strong heritage, is looking to recruit an additional marketing coordinator to oversee their expanding direct marketing activities. This role is focused on direct mail planning, campaign reporting and analysis. You'll also have a good understanding of the creative process, from managing external agents through to print buying and design. Your background should also include a working knowledge of the catalogue/mail order sector, or retail industry.
Likely to be educated to degree level you should have 18 - 24 months experience in a client or agency environment and may well have additional qualifications in marketing/direct marketing. With a solid grounding you will now be looking for a fresh challenge that offers an outstanding opportunity to work with a leading name in the charitable sector.
You should have experience of print and design production, proofing, dealing with suppliers, working to schedules and deadlines. Budgetary control experience would be beneficial. Good IT skills are also required including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and use of SAP or similar purchasing system.
We are looking for a proactive, creative thinker who can manage multiple projects and deadlines with good project management experience, staying calm under pressure and focused on deadlines and results. You'll be an excellent communicator with good presentation skills, commercially minded and able to negotiate with suppliers.
