SEO Manager / Head of Search needed by a fast growing tech start-up company to help build traffic and to devise and implement the SEO strategy for the UK website whilst leading SEO thinking in the international territories.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SEO Manager / Head of Search to take a leading role as our client's site has achieved a market leading position. The role will report directly into the Head of Digital and the candidate will be at the forefront of setting SEO strategy.
The SEO Manager / Head of Search will be responsible for:
"Growing the site presence on search engines targeting a global audience
"Working with agencies and managing a team of 2.
"Providing input into product and content development decisions
"Devising a program of ethical search engine optimisation activity
"Reporting on performance & tracking trends
"Communicating SEO activity on a weekly basis
"Reporting on keyword popularity, competitor behaviour and traffic patterns
The SEO Manager / Head of Search must have a background in ethical natural / organic search (which could include PPC / Paid Search) across a B2B or B2C site that has a high volume of searchable terms ie travel, directories, price comparison, online retail, media or an aggregator.
The SEO Manager / Head of Search must have an understanding of site functionality, the internal classification of a site and an understanding of large scale search.
The SEO Manager / Head of Search would suit a candidate who has experience of working on international markets and wants to be at the forefront of developing strategy.
