Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join a successful team as a Senior Marketing Analyst and be instrumental in shaping the customer insight and strategy for the business.
Reporting to the Marketing Recruitment and Retention Manager you will

- maintain, develop and maximise the use of the member database to provide effective insight for the campaign team and marketing department
- drive sales through understanding members, their transactions, behaviours, attitudes and wishes.
- provide meaningful reports to monitor performance and support decision making Key Skills

- Excellent analytical skills supported with marketing knowledge and awareness. Preferably with mail order experience
- Excellent Excel and Access skills. Experience of column-based systems, such as smartFocus or FastStats would be an advantage
- Ability to communicate complex ideas and analysis in a simple way to other parts of the business
- Hands-on experience of segmentation. Preferably knowledge of CRM techniques, profiling/predictive modelling
- Ability to apply marketing insight to data analysis to achieve actionable conclusions
- Keen questioner, challenger of data and analytical findings to maximise learning
- Highly numerate
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills ability to influence
- Keen team player
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise own workload
- Ability to work across several business functions
- Self-motivated
