About the Role
In the drive to become a truly Services, Software Applications and Content focused business, as well as manufacturing excellent handsets, our client are building a UK Go To Market Services and Software Product Management team and we are currently hiring several business critical roles to support this.
This is a commercial business management Product team who will work cross functionally to bring to market and launch new product and service propositions (Music proposition, Community Services, Games, Email, Video and TV content) in conjunction with the Devices team. Responsibilities:
Ensure the best Music service offering – you will be the service expert and champion objectives in the Sales Unit
Manages Music-Service GTM activities related to go-to-market projects as well as service sales and support of live services
Services Product Management - drive Service GTM roadmapping and input to positioning of services and price management
Ensure that GTM Plans reflect the goals of the business and customers/ consumers are understood
Provides Sales Unit Music-Service requirements and inputs to roadmaps to the Portfolio Management team
Ensures the Music Service offering is available across the range of relevant devices during the entire device lifetime
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for Internet Services specialists who understand how to construct, build and launch Services to market ideally within internet services or the internet side of an Operator or Handset manufacturer
Analytical thinking, Networking, Influencing, Conflict resolution, Presentation skills, Project management, concept of solutions/value/experience
Strong impact on business short and mid term success
Effective team player, development and implementation of plans and product marketing processes
Ability to work independently and self directed to measure effectiveness and service level of product marketing activities.
Increased awareness and influence of other functions outside of own business area
Decision making - able to choose correct solution or modify existing solution
