Job Description

Marketing Assistant initial 12 month contract, likely to extend.

A leading entertainment company is looking for a talented Marketing Assistant to join their team.

Ideally you will be a fresh graduate with some work experience (placement or internship) within a consumer marketing department.

This position will involve day-to-day assistance with the administrative and logistical workload for a team of around 25 product managers within the marketing department. Duties include:

  • Liaising with studios to coordinate the delivery of information and assets
  • Liaising with external marketing agencies and suppliers where appropriate
  • Tracking age rating applications and associated purchase orders
  • The transfer and cataloguing of digital and printed assets for marketing campaigns
  • Fielding general requests from our network of territory offices and distributors
  • Managing couriers and delivery services
  • Event support - asset collection, brochure creation and personal attendance at such events will be required

Dependent upon the available company product portfolio, there may be an opportunity for the marketing assistant to take on product management duties on their own lines.


Job Requirements

Educated to A' Level / degree standard in a marketing / sales related qualification

Product or PR management experience and proven skills in creative thinking would be an advantage

Self starter - highly motivated individual to keep pace in a busy office

Commercial outlook - pragmatic and reliable.

Organised - prioritise and organise varied work schedule

Team player - broad level of involvement across many marketing areas and many other functions.

Computer Literate - experience of major business applications e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Communicative - strong interpersonal skills are required in an international dept. where communication is key.

Interest in video games and the wider entertainment market.

Second European language - advantage but not essential
