Our client is a brand new start up company backed by one of the biggest automotive suppliers in the UK. They have created this new and dedicated company with a team of automotive and Internet experts and following significant consumer research studies they have created an innovative and refreshing way for consumers to find their next car.
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Product Manager to join their new and exciting organisation in the development and roll out of their search product and user generated content features. Within the role you will manage the full life cycle of products from conception through to implementation, focusing on ensuring that consumer needs and targets are met. Working closely with the marketing, design and development teams, you will ensure that revenue targets are met and exceeded and traffic is increased to the website, pro-actively feeding back to the business and stakeholders with developments.
Candidates for this role must have experience of defining and specifying user features preferably for search and/or social networking b2c websites. With an entrepreneurial streak and the desire to make an immediate impact in a fast moving organisation, you will be creative and commercially aware with an understanding of the product management life cycle. You will be highly motivated and hold strong communication skills with experience in user testing and ideally of working on a consumer facing business e-commerce website. An understanding of industry user interface standards for the web and technology developments (Ajax, xml, Web2.0 technologies) would be beneficial, although is not essential for the role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to join this fast paced environment with the scope to help define and build a hugely successful product set.
Located in Macclesfield, this role is commutable from areas such as Warrington, Stoke-on-Trent, Stockport, Manchester, Derby, Chesterfield and Sale.
