Job Description

 Our client is seeking a Group Market Research Manager to help drive research across the European region, including small business and personal finance offerings. This person would report into the country manager, EMEA.

The group market research manager will work with marketing and product development teams to:
Help identify and size potential new opportunities
Help identify most impactful messaging/marketing communications
Help accelerate growth in the mobile space, by conducting research on customer needs and how they are/should be addressed via mobile devices
Help business understand shopping/buying behaviors
Support customer experience focus by working closely with the business unit on net promoter and customer satisfaction research
Drive brand trackers to stay on top of market and competitive trends
Manage budget and prioritise research
Work with researchers across global team to ensure learnings are utilised to their fullest

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 The successful candidate must be able to proactively suggest needed research, prioritise projects against businesss strategic objectives, synthesize information from a variety of studies including secondary sources, up-level insights from data analysis to strategic implications and proactively present the customers needs across different levels of the organisation.
Must have 10+ years of solid market research experience and some global exposure.
Must have at least 5 years of client side experience.
Must have experience with both qualitative and quantitative research techniques, knowledge of statistical techniques, strong written and oral communications skills and strong project management skills.
Ideal candidate will also have a passion for understanding the customer and their needs.
Must show a track record of successfully partnering with businesses to uncover insights to drive significant strategic change.
Must have strong influencing skills.
Must have a strong can-do mindset.
Must be able to synthesize data from a variety of sources into impactful insights.
Must be able to effectively select and manage external suppliers ensuring that they clearly understand/deliver on expectations in a timely and cost effective manner
Plus to have familiarity with cutting edge research philosophies and techniques.

Must also have experience with NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH.
