Job Overview:  

Concur is looking for an experienced product marketer that will manage a portfolio of established software as a service (SAAS) and mobile products and bring new SAAS and mobile products to market in EMEA. Our candidate would possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. He/she must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market. He/she must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. 
Position reports to the VP of Marketing, who is located in the UK.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage positioning, pricing, and packaging per target European country for a portfolio of travel booking and expense claims products 
  • Collaborate with US based R&D teams to ensure EMEA product requirements are understood, planned into the product roadmap and delivered to plan. Ensure consistency is maintained across marketing web site, mobile product and customer service experience.
  • Collaborate with US based centralized Product Marketing function to ensure EMEA service offering requirements are understood and core systems are flexible enough to support per country variations.
  • Conduct market research, lead focus groups, and engage in an on-going dialog with customers and non-customers
  • Collaborate with EMEA Sales teams and peer Marketing teams to identify market requirements for enhancements to your products and for future new products 
  • Lead a cross-functional team to launch existing products into new countries and new products into the marketplace
  • Lead competitive and market intelligence for the small business and mid-sized business segments in EMEA
  • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offerings
  • Collaborate with Business Development on existing channel partner sales strategies and potential partner targets 
  • Operate effectively in a stand-alone role
  • Interact with peer Business Unit Product Marketing Directors globally to share requirements and collaborate where applicable. 
  • Interact with EMEA Sales, Marketing, R&D, Business Development, Support, and External Customers
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies

Position Requirements 

Education, Experience & Training required:

  • BS/BA in Marketing or equivalent is required. Pursuit of higher education (MBA for example) or specialized training preferred. 
  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager within an on-demand services or software company
  • 2+ years Software as a Service (SaaS) experience
  • Experience delivering software solutions to small and mid-sized businesses
  • Experience with equipping and supporting sales professionals.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
