Working for the EMEA Partner Marketing and Retail Manager, the Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing the Consumer and Retail online and offline marketing and branding strategies, messages and campaigns and localizing them to EMEA market place to increase market share and revenue for McAfee. Duties include:
Work with UK retail BDM on a comprehensive regional marketing plan to drive the retail business across all channels and hit the sales target in the region
Work with UK retailers, resellers and distributors on understanding the key drivers for the success of McAfee products, advise on best marketing activities at their point of sales and on their media, prioritize activities based on ROI and secure funding
Work with McAfee teams and external agencies to ensure all programs are executed
Manage UK marketing budget, ensure it is properly allocated across channels and that the budget requests are properly opened and managed.
Liaise with EMEA/global product marketing on ensuring all relevant information is available to EMEA teams, and that feedback on EMEA needs and market is provided to US teams.
Liaise with global retail marketing on EMEA plans and new launches and ensure the information is passed to the EMEA regions
Coordinate local budgets and marketing plans and work with EMEA sales director on ensuring budget is properly allocated.
Be the point of reference for EMEA team for retail marketing best practices and for EMEA launch of new products (monetization, messaging, positioning)
Work with PR teams on raising awareness of McAfee retail product and leveraging positive product reviews
Qualifications
Excellent English written and oral communications skills
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Retail and Consumer marketing experience
Experience of working with third party suppliers and partners and account management of agency relationships
Marketing experience in a FMCG / Consumer/ Retail environment across UK / EMEA
Experience of working in a changing environment
Experience of all aspects of the marketing mix (PR, merchandising, in-store, advertising, internet, viral marketing)
Experience of reporting and ensuring existing campaigns and channels are operating effectively
Flexible with regard to European travel
Experience of localising and executing campaigns
Highly analytical with good attention to detail
Strong result and goal orientation
Degree calibre
