Leading North East based retailer, with around 100 stores throughout the UK

Job Description

The role will carry full responsibility for the strategic management of all marketing and advertising functions. You will be responsible for:
· The management of the marketing team
· Creating and controlling the annual marketing budget
· All advertising, TV, radio, national/local press, and online
· Analysis of the market and competitors
· Creation of an E-commerce website
· Production of TV commercials
· Planning of media schedules
· Creating a differentiation strategy in order to gain competitive advantage in the marketplace
· The management of suppliers, including agencies, printers, and media buyers

Candidate Description

The relevant candidate will have demonstrable strategic marketing experience, ideally gained in a B2C environment. With professional qualifications an advantage, you will be able to lead and motivate an already successful team, develop new and innovative ideas, and be able to work to tight deadlines.
