Job Purpose:
Provide the market and customer voice into the development of our future product strategy. Lead and coordinate the product marketing function.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Act as champion for all programme related marketing and commercial activities. In particular, develop the commercial strategy and launch plans including:
-Product positioning
-Volume and Pricing strategy
-Global distribution plans (sales, service, parts)
-Marketing plans
-Detailed launch plans
Manage product marketing activities and ongoing product and strategy development including:
-Liaison with engineering, including gateways and PST meetings
-Input sales and marketing requirements to whole life plan
-Develop tactical product actions where required
-Ongoing strategy development
-Reporting (eg option take rates)
-Identify sales and marketing fleet requirements
-Define requirements for any research programmes
Integrate, plan and align marketing activities with regions
Operate the product marketing function , supported by product marketing team (pricing/intelligence), marketing operations and coordinate a 'line into (dotted line) HQ for our two regional brand managers. (UK/EU)
To undertake other duties as required to achieve the Company's objectives.
Qualification & Experience:
A Degree (or equivalent) in a business related area
Proven experience in broad automotive marketing roles covering several positions
Ideally has experience in Marketing, Sales and/or Dealer Development
Excellent planning and strategy skills
Thorough understanding of Marketing, Sales, dealer development and service processes
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage and communicate at various levels
