Their Sales and Marketing Department, is responsible for managing and growing existing relationships as well as the introduction of new partners. This is achieved by delivering an exceptional customer service and support network, and compelling propositions.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for delivering both a pro-active and re-active PR and media relations service to the business.
Acting as a trusted adviser to business areas on PR & media relations activity, you will work in close conjunction with specific business areas ensuring that there is both a flow of information and a development of PR & media relations strategy.
In addition, you will be expected to maintain your current knowledge of the industry activity and issues and apply them to media relations/PR activity as appropriate. With regards to third parties you will deal competently with PR agencies and strive to develop strong and productive relationships with key journalists.
THE PERSON
Applicants currently working as Brand Managers, Trade Marketing Managers, Product Managers or in any FMCG or B2B marketing role with a provable track record of success are invited to apply if they have -
The ability to prioritise and work to tight deadline is essential coupled with a calm and effective outlook on crisis management. In addition, you will have excellent written and communication skills and come from a structured PR background.
Comfortable working autonomously, you will be adept at relating the principles of PR /media relations to any given sector. A broad understanding of the automotive sector is not essential but an added benefit.
