Account Director - Public Sector/ Consumer London - £40,000-£42,000

This top ranked full-service London agency is looking for Account Directors to head-up some really high-profile public sector accounts, primarily focusing on the education sector. The agency's communications campaigns consist of a diverse range of PR tactics, including media relations, guerilla, digital and experiential. So, if you'd like to work on devising meaningful and genuinely newsworthy campaigns, in one of the fastest growing divisions specialising in issues-based communications within a really highly regarded and respected agency, then this would be a great move for you.

As an Account Director your key responsibilities will include:

·Responsible for the direction, effective delivery and retention of accounts
·Management of account managers and account executives
·Key point of client contact
·Effective budgeting
·Identifying and converting new business opportunities in both new prospects and existing clients
Key attributes include:

·Confident juggling a varied portfolio of client accounts
·Experienced media relations practitioner and very strong writer
·Strong understanding of the issues confronting organisations in key sectors and consumers alike
·A creative thinker
·Excellent client consultancy skills providing counsel to clients
·Skilled at forging relationships with senior clients
·Highly proficient at all aspects of PR with a 'hands-on' approach
·Able to contribute actively to new business pitches and have good presentation skills and will actively seek new business opportunities
·Skilled at managing an account team and motivating and developing junior colleagues
