Job Description

Graduate PR Assistant 12 Month initial Contract

This leading Entertainment company is looking for a Junior PR Assistant to help out its busy PR department in their high profile releases and organising major events.

Ideally you will be a recent graduate with some work experience in a consumer PR environment (work placement or internship)

Day to Day Responsibilities Include:
Educated to 'A Level / degree standard - able to think through problems to find appropriate solutions and challenge established work practices for the betterment of departmental performance.

  • Supporting PR team in the coordination, production and distribution of PR materials (e.g. press releases, developer information, Q&As, story ideas, etc.)
  • Tracking and managing localisation of PR assets for media kits and events 
  • Managing regular reporting (weekly PR report & release schedule update, press site download report, coverage reporting, event reports)
  • Minute taking on Global Conference calls
  • Operational/on ground support of  specific product launches, media events, tours etc
  • Manage  travel requirements for tours, trade shows, and media events
  • Assist in development of style and branding guidelines for events, and ensuring brand guidelines are being adhered to at central events
  • Oversee the Event Centre for trade shows and large scale media events
  • General PR administration, raising POs etc

Skills needed:

Advanced organisation skills and close attention to detail in order to prioritise and organise a very varied work schedule

Strong administrative skills

Proven skills in creative thinking

Self starter - highly motivated individual to keep pace in this busy office

Team player - broad level of involvement across many marketing areas and many other functions

Computer Literate - experience of major business applications e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Communicative - strong written, oral and interpersonal skills are required in an international dept. where communication is key

Passion for entertainment (video games in particular would be an advantage)
