A leading global investment bank is seeking a capable and professional Communications Officer for a 6-month contract. The candidate will be assisting the Communications Director in designing, developing and executing all communications events and activities to ensure internal stakeholders are well informed and connected to one another and also to peers outside of the organisation.
Description Of Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to Director of Communications
- Liaising with Senior Management and the extended management team across the organisation to develop and manage all communications events in a coordinated fashion
- Strategically build, design and manage key communications events
- Track effectiveness of all communications events and materials and work feedback analysis into a continuous improvement cycle
- Followup of all feedback on Communications
- Prepare presentation material and reports for management team and for Senior/Executive Board review and other presentation material required on an adhoc basis
Skills and characteristics required:
- Confidence in Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheets. There will be opportunity to learn more about these applications on the job but no training given.
- Strong communication skills
- Good relationship management at all levels of the business
- Self-motivation and the ability to work alone on projects (with guidance)
- A strong willingness to learn new skills
- Web management skills would be an advantage
