Our dynamic, well-established Financial Services client based in Bournemouth are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Consultant to join their team. The purpose of the role is to provide high quality communications consultancy and guidance for various Business Areas.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- To plan, develop and manage effective internal communication and other activity in support of the overall Business Area Goals and continue to support Business Leaders in delivering their communication accountability in the line.

- To ensure that an effective and professional internal communications infrastructure operates within each Business Area; delivering clear, meaningful two-way communication between employees.

·       Construction and management of internal communications strategy and plan for allocated Business Areas.

·       Manage & implement a programme of face to face communication as key performance driver

·       Advise on face to face events including business area conferences & support for business' Events / Conferences

·       Promote and have a proactive role in managing Employee Engagement Survey communications and action planning across allocated Business Areas

·       Be actively involved in major Business Area projects to ensure effective internal communication to a variety of audiences.

·       Work with colleagues from other business areas as appropriate to promote awareness of improvement initiatives, operating plans and progress against them.

·       Use of internal communication media as appropriate.

·       Consultancy role, recommending appropriate course of action for given scenarios, to senior management in allocated Business Areas

- Proactively seek to improve the internal communications process through evolution and innovation by keeping up to date with developments in technique and technology.

Skills & Experience:
Experience in managing communications with senior management and internal/external suppliers.
· Experience in delivering a programme of internal communications activity which adds value and makes a difference
· Project management experience.
· Sound knowledge of Financial Services Life & Pensions market place.
· Demonstrable experience/skills in communications and/or marketing.
· Presentation Skills
· Influencing skills
· Self motivated.
