Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled strategic account director with integrated / digital experience to join a Guildford based agency who operate and focus on the financial services market. With a raft of retained clients (and some project / ad hoc work) it is a fast paced but friendly environment.

Based in stunning offices and just a 40 min commute from London the role of the account director is both hands-on and strategic. Managing a team of three account managers the role will focus on both digital and branding projects, as well as overall client management and new business.

The role will also have a seat on the board of directors and will have full budgeting responsibilities.

The successful candidate will ideally come from an in-house marketing role within the wider financial services market (agency experience would be of benefit but not essential). Exposure to digital marketing, branding, devices, print and media would be highly desirable.

Previous experience of the management, development and motivation of a small team of enthusiastic account handlers and/or marketing professionals would also be highly desirable.

If you are at a senior marketing manager / head of marketing level within the financial services industry and are looking for a change, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
