A leading specialist Insurance Broker is currently recruiting for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CO-ORDINATOR to work alongside the marketing manager. The role is initially a 12 month contract with the opportunity of a permanent position following.
The successful candidate will assist the Marketing Manager in delivering a pro-active, efficient and effective business development support service to the firm.
Regular Duties Include,
- Assisting the Marketing Manager in coordination of information relating to BD activities.
- Centrally coordinating the company contact database
- Supporting the implementation of all client development (cross selling) programmes.
- Working with and supporting the Marketing Manager in delivering business development plans through the coordination of specific business development campaigns and projects
- Attending business development meetings with the Marketing Manager and producing action points and post meeting notes.
The incumbent will be an excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with people at all levels including brokers, underwriters and clients. A similar role within business development and a good understanding of MS packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is preferable.
Candidates should come from an insurance or financial services environment (law or accountancy) and be studying, or willing to study towards CIM or equivalent.
