We are currently working on behalf of a leading Insurance and financial Services organisation who due to their continued growth are looking for an E-Marketing Executive to join their growing marketing department in Bournemouth, the company are growing at a massive rate and this is an excellent opportunity to join this fast moving ambitious organisation
The Role / Responsibilities
To plan, brief, produce, implement, analyse and report on eMarketing/strategic implementation activities, in line with agreed business plans, to deliver agreed business objectives in line with Online Sales strategy and brand guidelines and values. Pro-actively identify ways to improve eMarketing campaign/strategic project effectiveness in terms of cost management, response generation and conversion. Participate fully in eMarketing planning exercises: annual eMarketing/Sales Planning and monthly sales reforecast processes, cost re-forecasts etc, to ensure the accurate and detailed production of phased sales and expense budgets and forecasts for the campaigns managed. Produce, for review and approval by the eCommerce Media Account Manager, detailed eMarketing/strategic project plans; in line with business plan and timings as delegated and monitored. Communicate campaign plans effectively, regularly and comprehensively to relevant Distribution teams, to help ensure that consumer response is effectively managed and handled, feedback from customer-facing areas is fully considered in ongoing campaign and promotions/customer communication activity, and that the Distribution teams are motivated to contribute fully to success of the respective campaigns.
Key Skills and Experiences required - Relevant professional experience in planning and running eMarketing campaigns in financial services including some direct experience of dealing with external eMarketing services suppliers.
- Established knowledge of GI,Bank and/or Life product marketing, including up-to-date understanding of appropriate regulation, and a commitment to adhere to relevant compliance standards.
- Strong project management skills including excellent verbal (formal presentation) and written (campaign plans and post-campaign reports) skills.
- Confidence and ability to deal with colleagues at all levels.
- The ability and willingness to work effectively under pressure and to complete the tasks required.
- Self-sufficient PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Graduate, preferably in a Marketing or numerate discipline, or with relevant business experience.
- Man-management experience; established coaching and mentoring skills desirable
- Microsoft Access and Project skills desirable
- Direct marketing (or eMarketing) industry qualification, preferably IDM Diploma desirable
