An exciting opportunity has arisen within a major retailer for an experienced marketer to join their financial marketing team. The role will be key in the acquisition of new customers, as well as retention of existing customers through a variety of marketing campaigns, while staying within the budgetary constraints of the department. Working closely with the marketing and design teams, along with outside agencies, you will plan and manage regular creative and promotional material.
Main Accountabilities:
*Manage customer retention through targeted campaigns with a focus on direct marketing across a variety of channels both on and offline.
*Look at opportunities to develop new relationships through targeted acquisition campaigns.
*Manage external agencies, ensuring that work achieves the high standards required.
*To constantly review process and methods to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
*Provide prospective customer insight and feed into tactical plans.
*Ensure that the assigned budget is adhered to and that any opportunities to save are acted upon.
Key Requirements:
*Proven experience within a direct marketing environment ideally, but not essentially within Financial Services.
*Ability to communicate effectively and to operate as part of a team.
*Ability to forge effective business relationships with colleagues across a wide range of disciplines and levels of seniority.
*The ideal candidate will be proactive, well organised and be able to work autonomously while dealing with a heavy workload.
