Marketing Executive, Acquisition and Conversion  

Executive Education

Salary: Up to £32,000, plus excellent benefits

The position

As a key member of the marketing team, one of your primary responsibilities will be to provide specialist knowledge in acquisition marketing and conversion marketing expertise with particular emphasis on filling the places on the Finance Executive Programmes.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working with the Marketing Manager to plan and execute brand response campaigns across all channels, focusing on Finance Executive Programmes
• Execution of marketing campaigns to target new prospects and existing warm contacts
• Lead generation targets for the Finance Executive Programmes within the Open Programmes portfolio
• Managing the relationships involved in campaign execution, including those with faculty, colleagues in executive education, and agencies
• Assisting with developing the response tracking model using online tools to track and monitor every enquiry throughout the customer lifecycle
• Manage the pilot phase of the Endearment and Conversion Microsite - a sophisticated personalised website that triggers timed emails to enquirers relevant to their initial enquiry. After this has been tested, rolling out to enquirer base, monitoring results, facilitating improvements in end user conversion levels
• Reporting on budget expenditure to Marketing Manager to ensure this is within allocated budgets, ensuring financial resources are used to maximum effect

The Department

Executive Education programmes attract senior executives from a diverse range of countries, industries and organisations and account for approximately 40% of the School's revenue.  There are approximately 1,200 participants on Open Enrolment programme every year together with approximately 4,000 on Custom programmes. As of 1^st October 2008 existing Finance Executive Programmes have become part of the Open Programmes portfolio. These attract approximately 550 participants a year.

The individual

The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a professional online marketing qualification (or working towards) and have relevant authoritative knowledge of specialist marketing techniques gained through work experience. Knowledge and experience of the finance industry and marketing to this audience is essential i.e. banking, corporate finance, private equity, hedge funds and pension funds.
