Looking to work for one of the top publishing / business intelligence brands in an autonomous MEA marketing role on a range of high profile government roundtable events.....

The Role?

· Marketing Manager

· Responsible for running delegate acquisition campaigns across Middle East and Africa for high profile Government and roundtable events

· Day to day autonomy of marketing activity managing campaigns from brief, through to creative and implementation.

· Strategy planning and budgeting

· Research background information on competition, topics, industry for campaign analysis

· Campaign management acquiring lists, developing effective marketing collateral to target specific audiences across the mix from dm through to DM

· Create new approaches to branding and marketing

· Maximise sponsorship participation in promotional activities

· Support other departments in marketing, programmes and customer service

· Manage external suppliers

The Person:

· Degree of the equivalent

· Extensive background in B2B direct marketing

· Ideally have international experience

· Background in Client retention strategy and implementation

· Preferably have conference marketing experience

· Extensive B2B marketing experience working across the mix on and offline understanding design capabilities and briefing suppliers

· Strong negotiation skills

· Very strong project management

· Excellent English Copywriting skills

· Able to work independently and part of a team

· Able to juggle deadlines and cope under pressure

· Opportunity to occasionally travel across Middle East and Africa
