Senior Customer Insights & Strategy Consultant
Sector: Online / Retail Location: London Salary: £70-77k + Excellent Package
Senior Customer Insights Analyst / Consultant:
Senior Consultant / Manager required for this global internet giant. In this cross functional role, you will play a key role in driving customer analytics forward within the business. Drawing together a diverse range of customer behaviour data e.g. spending / buying trends, competitor behaviours, product & pricing performance, campaign data etc you will put together new customer centric business strategies to increase ROI and overall customer satisfaction. Joining a team focussing on deriving a new global strategy based upon customer insights, you will take ownership of developing this strategy and play a key role in rolling it out to the global business, initially targeting European teams. You will liaise with primary business partners and key stakeholders and will need to have a unique blend of hands on analytical skills (ideally with SAS, but SQL, Excel, SPSS etc will be considered) in addition to have exceptional commercial awareness and the ability to translate your findings into actionable strategies
The Person:
This person could be from either a marketing, pricing or risk analytics background however you must posses core competencies to excel in this role. These include:
- Advanced analytical background with customer driven data e.g. you may be a senior marketing analyst, analytics manager, risk analyst, analytics consultant, pricing manager etc. Ideally, you will have solid experience with SAS (SAS Base, SAS Macros etc), however candidates with strong analytical skills with alternative statistical tools such as SPSS, KXEN, SQL, Excel etc will be considered. You are also likely to have a knowledge of data modelling and/or statistical techniques e.g. CHAID, Logistic Regression, Propensity Modelling, Forecasting, financial modelling etc
- Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to really understand customer behaviour through the application of data. You must have experience of translating these findings into strategy and the ability to present compelling arguments back to key stakeholders
- Solid academic background in a relevant subject e.g maths, statistics, economics, operational research etc
- Ideally, however not essentially, you will have multi-country work experience, or have experience with international teams on large data driven projects. German or French language skills are of particular interest
