Business Team Manager

Direct Mail

Based West Yorkshire

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 (dependent on experience) + Bonus + Pension + 25 Days Holiday

Our client is a leading Print Management provider who has achieved great success dealing with some of the biggest worldwide brands. An opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Business Team Manager to head up a team working on some of the organisations most prestigious accounts.

The Role:

· To manage a team of up to 10 working alongside the Sales and Account management teams to build and develop customer relationships and ensure client retention whilst developing new customer accounts.
· Promote and instigate best working practice across the team to deliver excellent customer service and enhance internal communications.
· Work closely with the head of Commercial to ensure departmental objectives are delivered.
· Attend customer reviews to maintain a professional relationship and provide them with practical solutions.
· To take responsibility for internal liaison to ensure clients deadlines are always met on time and in full, particularly in relation to; Sales, Production, Finance and Quality.
· Oversee in conjunction with the Account managers the invoicing and cost allocation to the customers.

The Person profile:

· Experience and a sound understanding of Direct Mail would be beneficial.
· The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate that they are a quality people manager with a keen interest in developing their people.
· Pivotal to the role is a proven ability to set and manage the achievement of team KPI's and have the flair to inspire the team to meet and exceed targets.
· Commercially astute with an understanding of the financial management process and other financial issues including; cash flow, contribution and VA.
· A confident presenter and negotiator with a consultative approach who shows good judgement and focus in their daily work.
· An understanding of Health & Safety and Information Security standards would be helpful.
