Job Description

Our client is a household name in the UK financial services industry with a customer-base numbering in the millions. They offer a wide range of products to both commercial and consumer customers and are looking to innovate their proposition to develop new channels to market and increased levels of business. In order to facilitate this growth they are now looking for a Web Analyst to join their existing team.

The key responsibilities of this role will include;

  • Managing the Adobe [Omniture] web analytics product suite to provide insight and detailed reporting to inform and assist the ecommerce team in day-to-day site management and optimisation.
  • Evolving visitor understanding in order to keep pace with industry, channel and Adobe developments and best practice.
  • Defining, planning and implementing web analytic strategies for (web address removed) .
  • Identifying potential usability issues and suitable hypothesis which will lead to insightful tests.
  • Championing a data-driven approach to site optimisation and usability.

The ideal candidate will be;

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working in an eCommerce environment.
  • Proven to have excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Skilled in the Adobe product suite; including SiteCatalyst, DataWarehouse, Discover, Test & Target and preferably some Genesis integration experience.
  • Experience of managing web analytics implementations.
  • Able to cut-through a mass of data and succinctly present insight and recommendations to help drive the business forward.
  • Experience of ComScore and Hitwise to supplement the Adobe data.
  • Commercial experience within the online financial services sector would be desirable.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a positive and persuasive manner.
