Job Description

Our client is an instantly-recognisable financial services business with a major consumer presence across the UK. They have enjoyed fantastic growth in recent years, very much bucking the trend across the rest of the industry and are now looking to expand further through an initiative to drive efficiencies from their multiple distribution channels, namely retail, digital and telephony. This has created two vacancies for Senior Insight Managers.

Being such a large business with a customer-base numbering in the millions the role of the insight team is vital in helping the business and the various channels achieve effeciency of operation. Working as part of the ecommerce sales and marketing function you will offer insights based on customer, marketing, sales or finance data and will knit this information together with a view to driving cost reductions and improved total customer value.

You will have the experience of testing and setting control cells and will have a highly analytical mind allowing you to drive both quantitative and qualitative insights. Rather than being a marketing or finance analyst with a purely deep understanding of a particular system or channel, you will take a broad approach to the various data available to you in order to deliver a joined-up and comprehensive view of the customer.

The successful candidate may have gained their insight experience in any industry, although financial services experience would be an obvious advantage. You will be highly commercial and will understand how to translate raw data into actionable insights, always with a strong appreciation of the commercial opportunities offered through your work. Candidates with experience using tools such as Adobe, Omniture, Coremetrics, CACI, FRS, e-Benchmarkers or Snap would be of particular interest.

This is a rare and golden opportunity for a proven but still-motivated analyst to empower a large business to drive efficiency in its customer contact activity. As part of a significant recruitment exercise this hire will prove critical in allowing the business to optimise not just its own porofitability but also the quality of service received by its customers. Interested candidates should attach an updated CV.
