A role for a talented professional with B2B research experience with a chance to progress in an international corporate blue-chip environment.
Working as part of a small and focused team supplying high-value services to corporate end users you will take responsibility for a range of research and market intelligence tasks.
You will undertake primary and secondary research, using published (print and online) information, and supplementing this with information gathered from interviewing key industry figures.
The role will involve both qualitative and quantitative studies, although the nature of the markets mean that volumes of data will not be huge, so good general IT skills are needed, rather than a knowledge of specialist analytical software.
You should be confident analysing information that you've gathered, using this to feed into business planning, giving you a great opportunity to make a real difference to the success of the business. In addition there will be a range of ad-hoc tasks, e.g. questionnaire design, researching information for fact sheets, etc.
The role will involve some travel throughout the UK and Europe and demands excellent communication skills, as you will be dealing with senior industry figures with the company, their distribution channels and clients.
There are excellent career opportunities in the UK and overseas, and the role offers great challenge and variety. You should have some B2B research experience and knowledge and be confident operating at a corporate level. If you have languages this could be useful, but isn't essential.
You could already be working within market insight or market research, or possibly within a research consultancy.
