Job Description

A large Financial Services organisation are currently looking for a Research Executive to join their marketing team on a temp to perm basis (3 months start).  As part of the research and analysis team, you will report to the Head of Marketing, supporting all channels of the business. The team provides all levels of research support, from tactical pitch support for sales and investment teams through to strategic analysis for new product and market developments. 

Duties: 

- Discovery research for the institutional RFP team
- Performance analysis for competitor offerings and market trends
- Detailed company profiles for target alliance partners 
- Comparative research into competing provider's product offerings and marketing materials
- Fact finds for retail intermediary partnership/sales targets
- Ad hoc research requests as directed by the Head of Strategic Research

Skills and characteristics:

- Proven professional research experience
- Knowledge of company report formats
- Experience of using Lipper and Datastream an advantage
- Good academic qualifications and strong writing skills
- Analytical and diligent
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines
- Proactive team player, as this role will operate across all business functions
- Self motivated
- Ability to liaise with colleagues of all levels
