Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, self motivated graduate to work within the marketing department of this high performing retail company. The main purpose of this role is to help raise awareness of the company and its retail brands and to develop a promotional events calendar to help drives sales and profit.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Assist in the development of the promotional events calendar
• Increase awareness of the retail brands
• Assist in the management of the marketing budget
• Assist in the production of marketing materials
• Perform competitor analyses and highlight any gaps in the market
• Manage the set up of promotions
• Ensure the invoice sheet is maintained and communicated to the customer as required
• Manage the production of store and field team bulletins
• Ensure new product set up information and price files are sent to the customer according to agreed timeframes
• Arrange the production of POS as required

You will be a graduate, ideally with a marketing or related degree or equivalent and have a good understanding of marketing with experience gained within a retail marketing environment. You must be able to make decisions, have excellent communication skills and show good use of initiative. Some commercial experience would be useful within this role as well as good prioritising and planning skills and you will possess competent IT skills.
