The opportunity:
Zurich are looking to recruit a Market Insight Executive to join the Global Corporate in Europe Marketing Team based in London. This role will suit an individual with strong market research/analytical background who is looking to specialise within competitor analysis and profiling. Reporting into the Market and Customer Insight Manager this role is responsible for building a competitive advantage for Zurich by developing our understanding of the current and future needs, behaviours and expectations of customers and brokers in our market; assessing our impact on our competitive position in the market place and contributing to the development of regional marketing plans in support of the wider business plan.
Therefore in this role you can expect to lead projects that develop Zurich’s insight into its markets, competitors, customers, brokers and stakeholders in order to shape and develop our strategy. In order to do this successfully you will manage and maintain relationships across marketing and the wider Global Corporate business in the UK and Europe. You will manage your own workload which will include set reporting activity as well as ad hoc duties that can emanate from Executive level.
About you:
Successful candidates will bring to the role proven experience in consumer insight analysis and be able to demonstrate strong report writing skills in both written as well as graphical formats. It goes without saying verbal communication skills should be exemplary. Experience of working with primary and secondary data is imperative along with an organised and timely approach to analysis. Successful candidates will also have demonstrable experience of working with Data agencies, IT and other data suppliers and have experience of managing tender processes. Ideally candidates will have a financial background or be able to provide evidence of an understanding of how financial organisations operate.
