Temporary to permanent / Permanent

Legal and General (LGIM) is the investment manager for Legal & Generals Pensions Management Company (PMC) investment products and its marketing area is responsible for arranging marketing and general support to the PMC Business Development and Client Management teams.
This role is primarily to recommend and to provide marketing collateral that supports PMCs business objectives. In order to carry out this role effectively the individual and their support will need to be able to understand both PMC products and the different approaches to managing each funds assets.
 

Specific Duties:

• Be responsible for the recommendation, planning, development and production of new business, member and client marketing collateral
• Be responsible for recommending, planning and implementing Corporate Pensions external communication campaigns
• Maintain and develop relevant areas of the public, client and investment consultant websites and the LGIM intranet site
• Assist with the completion of the research programme for corporate pensions
• Producing the annual report
• Be responsible for the completion of ad hoc independent surveys/questionnaires
• Manage and develop marketing executive 

Skills:

• Degree or equivalent
• Solid experience of marketing investment products, including the planning/ implementation of product launches, external/ internal communication campaigns and copy writing
• Experience of marketing corporate pension investment products
• Agency management experience
• Research planning and implementation experience
• Experience of website management tools
• Thorough understanding of UK Investment industry, products and services (Especially Bonds and Index funds)
• An understanding of corporate pension investment products
• Strong written investment communication skills
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Good relationship-building skills
• Pro-active
• Creative within a business context
• Good attention to detail
• Highly organised and deadline conscious

The successful candidates would have worked in a similar role in the past with proven experience of leading and implementing large scale marketing communication projects. Experience working within Financial Services is essential, however experience within the pensions or institutional fund management industry would be an advantage.

This role will be on a temporary to permanent basis or straight permanent.
