Job Description

One of the world's leading manufacturing firms is recruiting for a Market Analyst for their fabulous offices in the Midlands.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a database of market information. This will include data relating to customers, competitors, acquisition targets and partners

Preparation of business and market reports using company and external data.

Support the leadership team to make informed, fact-based business decisions.

Establish and monitor market drivers anticipating both threats and opportunities.

Identify new market opportunities resulting from anticipated changes in the market (competitor product development, pricing strategies, emergent legislation, environmental issues, etc).

Establish and manage processes for the acquisition of analysis of market intelligence.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a market analyst background, gained ideally from a corporate environment, and will have experience of the above duties.
