Job Description

Why is this job important to the company?

 

Following a period of financial growth coupled with new business wins and a renewed market presence means this organisation is looking for a candidate to be responsible for developing and managing profitable online direct marketing campaigns.

What responsibilities will I have?

To manage and implement all online promotional campaigns to achieve Direct Channel GWP, sales volume, CPS and profitability targets:

  • Work closely with Pricing, Group Marketing Database colleagues and appropriate external resource to develop target segment profiling, propensity and conversion models and to embed data collection & prospecting best practice
  • Develop media and creative briefs;
  • Works with Online Channel Manager (OCM) and Agencies to prepare plans & campaign schedules;
  • Implement online marketing campaigns on time and within budget;
  • Manage the analysis of online marketing campaigns and adjust plans accordingly;
  • Co-ordinate our participation in external online marketing benchmarking;
  • Make use of web analytics and ad serving tools and to champion new and improved ways of campaign reporting.

 

 

What skills and experience will make me successful?

 

  • An understanding of Online Marketing principles including knowledge of online media management, developing compelling campaigns, interpreting campaign analytics and optimising performance to maximise business results
  • Tight budget / agency / partner management to ensure budgets are respected, targets met and objectives achieved.
  • Ability to plan and organise your own time to ensure deadlines are met and objectives achieved
  • Problem solving skills to ensure practical solutions are found to often complex business problems
  • Ability to question and challenge in a positive manner
  • Build strong internal relationships to ensure consensus and business success
  • Focuses effort on objectives and outputs to be achieved and adopts a sense of urgency at work
