Do you have experience of statistical modelling? Ideally in predictive analytics?
Do you have experience of working with large, complex datasets?
Are you capable of explaining the value of the models and how they will benefit and impact a business commercially, delivering this information to non-technical audiences such as marketing managers?
If so, this role will be something that interests you.
We're recruiting on behalf of a global analysis and insight consultancy who are looking to appoint a senior level analytical resource to work onsite at their client. Although this is a consultancy role, you will be assigned to working onsite with this client permanently. They have a long standing contract with the company and have developed an in-sourced / out-sourced model which see teams being placed both onsite and overseas.
The end client is one of the UK's biggest telecoms and media firms, offering fixed line, broadband, wifi and home entertainment services. They have a customer base in the millions and a diverse product and proposition base.
This role will see you joining their Customer Insight function, providing data modelling and analysis support reporting to the Senior Modelling Manager.
Previous experience of developing acquisition, attrition, cross-sell, up-sell, retention modelling is highly desirable. But this won't just be a technical role. You also need to be able to go beyond just crunching data and building models, and must be able to converse with the wider business, explaining the benefit of data models and how they can help drive the business forward. When doing this you will be dealing with non-technical audiences, usually within the wider marketing function, so you will need to understand how to translate these in a way this audience can grasp.
Key benefits of this role include:
- Cutting edge analytics techniques and methodologies in a high performance environment
- Variety of work, there are lots of projects to get your teeth into
- Future career development opportunities. Given they are a consultancy, should the opportunity arise, you may be able to move across to work on different clients. Although for now you will be aligned to the one client
- They have clients all over the world, so equally, should you feel like a change of location, it's something they are likely able to support
