Our client, who are leaders in their financial services field, have recently grown to be one of the largest and the most respected companies in their market. With an annual advertising budget in excess of £2.2 million, the Group is looking to recruit a new Department Manager.
The role will involve the successful candidate being responsible for the areas in which the marketing budget is allocated, in order to continue the substantial organic growth of the company.
Our client advertises across a variety of channels, including, DRTV, Radio, Directories, PPC campaigns, SEO, Press, Direct Mail.
You will be responsible for the Management of the relationships with the company's media buyers and other various agencies. The role will also present the opportunity to explore new avenues of marketing as well as internal communications and customer retention initiatives. This will involve working closely with the BDM and BD team to support and grow B2B relationships.
The candidate will be expected to work with senior management and will report to the CEO and the board. This is a senior position that may well ultimately lead to a board level appointment.
Key skills:
*Marketing and Management experience (online and offline) preferably to both B2C & B2B audiences
*Developing all marketing communications (adverts, radio, brochures, web content etc)
*Project Management - managing multiple marketing campaigns
*Management of relationships with key accounts (Thomson, Yellow Pages, Money supermarket etc)
*Copywriting & PR
*Business Development - proactively looking for ways to develop additional relationships
*Data analysis
*Ability to manage small marketing team
*Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to cooperate with and influence stakeholders across all levels
*Self motivated
*Competent with MS Word, Excel
*Ideally CIM qualification or Chartered Marketer status
*Ability to multi task
*Experience of full marketing mix
