Our client, a medium sized bank is looking for a marketing & communications executive to start with them on a temporary to permanent basis on the 7th of November. The client may also consider candidates on a permanent only basis.
Reporting to the marketing & communications manager your job purpose will be:
- To assist with the implementation of all client and internal communications to meet the goals and objectives of the bank
- To help the marcomms manager develop, implement and manage communications to build the brand of the bank
- Maintain internet and intranet sites on behalf of the bank to ensure that all information is technically & factually correct, liaising with internal clients to ensure that all amendments and updates are developed in accordance with their needs
- Alongside the marcomms manager, advise internal clients on aspects such as layout, house style, copy, content, artwork etc for all communications and channels
- Together with the marcomms manager take responsibility for progressing copy for communications through production and printing
- Support the marcomms manager in the organisation and ongoing management of corporate hospitality and events
- Manage stocks and distribution of corporate gifts on behalf of the bank
- Deputise for the marcomms manager in their absence Knowledge and skills required to undertake the role:
- Strong communication skills to enable the jobholder to give clear written and verbal briefs to suppliers and to write monthly reviews of website activity for clients, the marcomms manager and director
- Good presentation skills in order that the jobholder can present ideas to clients and team members effectively
- Advanced proof-reading skills to ensure that all copy makes sense and is spelt and punctuated correctly before it is published or printed
- Good pc skills
- Well developed organisational skills to enable the jobholder to manage numerous projects at one time
