A well known International Banking organisation with a presence in 30 countries across the world and employs around 2,700 people speaking more than 40 languages. In 2007, the business embarked on a programme of change aimed at repositioning itself for accelerated growth and thereby laying the foundation for the internationalization of the Group.
Expatriate Banking (EB) within IB, where this role will be based, provides a full range of banking, investment and mortgage services to predominantly personal customers around the world in multiple currencies and holds customer assets running to many £billions. EB has been identified as a key area that can and will deliver fast growth for the Group and, consequently, is in receipt of a significant and sustained level of investment to unlock this growth over the next few years.
Internet Banking is considered a critical component of the growth strategy of the International Banking. The online business is now poised for rapid growth and investment. Significant business opportunities in this area make this role a challenging as well as a rewarding one
The role available is Online Marketing/product Manager. This role will have the following key responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
The role will have responsibility in supporting the Internet Head , International Banking in the following areas:
- Improve online customer experience of the International banking websites
- Work with cross functional teams including product, operations and compliance to develop and implement an effective and an easy to use content management system for updating online content
- Drive and increase registrations for internet banking among International banking customers
- Monitor and track website traffic and implement initiatives to increase flow and retention of quality traffic to the International banking website.
- Use website analytics to measure marketing effectiveness of website promotions and implement initiatives to improve sales and customer satisfaction
- Work with product teams across the business to increase X sell and customer acquisition through the website.
- Monitor competitor activity and online banking trends to incorporate new features that will benefit the business and the customers
Skills and Experience :
The successful candidate will a flexible team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrable ability to deliver results whilst maintaining quality. The skills and experience required include:
- 4-5 years Marketing or Product Management experience preferably in the online area
- Self starter, capable of working in cross functional teams to deliver business results
- Financially numerate and strong analytical skills
- Ability to understand customer needs / preferences and tailor business priorities to match those needs.
