Job Purpose:

To drive New Product Development Financial modelling and Revenue Forecasting across the company.

Main Responsibilities:

· Proactively drive and support new product opportunities, and respond to change relative to new
products
· To manage Business Modelling for new product development project from identifying new opportunity through to product launch including
· To propose alternative financial and revenue generation models and approaches for new product strategy
· Collaboratively develop and lead cross-organisational new product strategy initiatives
· To support new product programmes and projects in business definition phase
· Present proposed strategy to management to support business case
· Shared annual objectives with Centres of Excellence, Sales and other departments
· To ensure business plans reflect development process monitoring to assure an adequate level of performance through establishment of appropriate product development metrics
· Provide recommendation and justification for budgetary spend within a given limit to reflect plans/forecast and recommending appropriate extraordinary spending needs where appropriate to meet business requirements
· Establishing budgets and revenues targets for new projects

Essential Requirements:

· Ideally Finance & Business Planning experience within Financial Industry, experience in FMCG, Telecommunications or Consumer Electronics a plus
· Track record in developing financial revenue models and forecasting for new product opportunities
· Demonstrated ability to achieve results through partnering and collaboration
· Experience in presenting, collaborating and influencing on an executive level
· Excellent solution selling skills
· Strong analytical skills
· Likely to possess a tertiary level education (or equivalent experience/qualifications
· A Business or Marketing qualification from CIM or equivalent bodies (by examination or accredited experience) is preferred.

Desirable Criteria:

· Ideally consulting experience
· MBA desirable
