Job Description

Our client is a FTSE-100 business with an impressive, diverse and highly profitable product and service proposition. Recent expansion has led to the requirement for a Head of Product and Marketing who will be responsible for the strategic direction, enhancement, financial performance and day-to-day management of the business area's portfolio, as well as the communications plan.

You will use a variety of measures to determine strategic direction including sales performance, market conditions, competitor and consumer insight, R&D, compliance factors and financial analysis. With a strong background in P&L management you will be a confident and commercially-savvy marketing professional with good leadership experience and the gravitas and credibility to put convincing arguments to board members.

The ideal candidate will come from a retail banking background although a strong candidate from another industry, possible telcos, retail or utilities marketing, may well fit the bill. The personal credentials are of paramount importance and will ultimately be the determining factor in selecting the right candidate. Essential professional experience will include product management and development, stakeholder management, leadership and B2C marketing.
