Working for this leading Financial Services company in the Cheltenham Head Office and reporting to the Communications Manager you will maintain the content of the intranet and online communications. The role requires you to ensure the intranet adds significant value through effective communication messages and will require you to be the online communications specialist for the team.

The intranet is an important tool in the business' marketing plan and the communication messages need to be accurate, up to date and relevant to the current market trends. You will have regular contact with other departments to ensure all the information is accurate and adequately maintained. The information provided will include regular events, meetings, external hosting and sponsorship events.

Further responsibility will be to act as the primary copywriter for all written communication and so will cover the creation, editing and authorisation of all written material. There will also be a creative element to the job as you will be required to create and design the content for both the intranet and associated websites.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you should have some marketing communications experience and have a clear command of the English language, grammar, pagination and online layout. You will also be creative with images, designs, diagrams and words. Good negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other departments to ensure accurate information and messages are conveyed are also important qualities.
