About the Role
As Marketing Manager, the overall purpose of the role will be to provide the vision for the government sector to encompass business, product and channel strategies. You will be:
Developing and establishing key partnerships with external customers and networks within industry organisations so as to anticipate and meet current and future needs.
Collecting segment specific customer requirements and ensures the circulation of customer and sales feedback to vertical & product marketing teams.
Analyzing market metrics (market accepted price points, unit volumes, competitive dynamics, market shares and pipelines) to aid decision making.
Supporting and driving strategy through leadership of strategic discussions for the vertical market, participating in business development activities, and making recommendations to Senior Leadership Team.
Develops and maintains segment roadmap; this roadmap includes messages to be communicated, target audiences, products and services to deliver, other business activities and goals to be achieved. Ensures roadmap alignment with other Datacard marketing initiatives and communication programs.
Supporting market-focused product development efforts including participation in portfolio management processes
What We're Looking For
To be successful, your background will be in either the cards industry, with strong evidence of developing and marketing technology based payments solutions in a B2B environment, or within an IT services related industry with extensive knowledge of the Government or Aerospace sectors. You will also have:
Experience with smartcards, digital securities, eid or e-passport, identity assurance, authentication solutions or identity solutions/digital identities (this is crucial).
Experience in a segment/channel marketing role within Government or Aerospace sectors.
Spokesperson/industry expert experience for conference speaking, networking and trade shows.
Demonstrated success in leading, growing and driving change in marketing organizations.
Proven effectiveness at communicating with all levels of an organisation.
Strong knowledge and experience internationally and proven ability to work cross-culturally.
Demonstrated success in evaluating, hiring and developing talent.
Experienced gained ideally in a European or International environment.
Willingness to travel in the EMEA remit, global travel will be fairly regular too.
About the Offer
£55,000 to £65,000 + Benefits
