Three new vacancies have arisen with one of the UK's biggest brands. The roles operate as Segment Managers, effectively acting like Marketing Directors to specific customer segments of the business. In this case it's breaking down the marketing of their B2B business to target audiences being Small, Medium enterprises and large Corporate to make it more relevant with each audience and driving both marketing and business excellence.
As the Segment Manager, you will take a strategic view of marketing, leveraging a team with a broad range of marketing disciplines covering PR, Campaigns, Propositions, Online, etc. Assembling delivery plans to the segment based on both the needs of the business and the customer, ensuring the right mix of activity over the right channels to deliver the KPI's.
Your main role will be to align marketing to exceed the segments specific goals. It will be based in a matrix environment, so it's important to ensure a joined up approach unilaterally across the B2B sector (involving collaboration with your 2 other segment leaders) whilst also meeting the demands of your own specific segment (be it small, medium enterprise or large corporate).

They are an FTSE top 50 company and number 1 in their sector in the UK. They're a major employer with a marketing division made up of over 250 people. They provide a suite of products and services aimed at both consumers and business customers alike and are a household name.
Trading over 09/10 has been very strong and with the emergence of a number of new business ventures born from government initiatives, they've been progressively hiring throughout the year to date.
Role: Segment Marketing Manager - 3 roles
Location: Staines or Leicester
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
Benefits: Good bonus, pension, £5k car allowance, flexible benefits package
EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
- Solid Senior Management Marketing background
- Experienced in a broad range of marketing disciplines
- Solid strategic B2B marketing background
- Solid commercial background, used to having to set and work to KPI's including LTV, margin, customer numbers, return on marketing investment, etc.
- Experienced at marketing to B2B audiences, if you have held a segment specific background (small, medium or large company targets) this would be great
- Must be experience of working for large enterprises, preferably in a service based industry
