Job Description

Credit Card Marketing Manager - London - 65-75k

Our client is a well regarding global banking company with some exciting new products to launch to their target markets. The purpose of this role is to launch a Credit Card product to add to their portfolio. You will be responsible for launch, implementation and ongoing analysis of the success of the product and will also develop a further suite of products in time. 

Responsibilities:
 
        Work closely with both the Specialised Banking team and the Retail team to rollout an effective launch and ongoing marketing strategy for transactional banking
        Manage the strategic marketing direction and effectively work across teams to develop launch, acquisition and lifecycle management programmes to drive transactional banking in two key target areas; and roll out a range of tactical initiatives including creative development, copywriting, ongoing customer communication and education, promotions and advertising whilst ensuring consistent brand messages across multiple channels.
        Develop a launch plan which will drive existing client take up, create a buzz in the market and attract new clients.
        Develop strategies to drive existing client uptake as well as new client acquisition.
        Develop a lifecycle management programme which looks at all activities including early engagement, activation, spend, loyalty, retention.
        Work closely with the divisional and group marketing teams to ensure all activity is co-ordinated.  Work with specialists within these teams to leverage their expertise in online/digital and event marketing.
        Manage relationships with numerous external vendors including advertising agencies, public relations personnel, production and mailing houses to ensure consistently high standards and maximum cost efficiencies.
        Where appropriate work with other third party suppliers to ensure effective implementation.
        Ensure UK marketing collateral output is appropriately positioned and clearly differentiated for the UK retail space.
        Continually communicate plans to internal audiences, across geographies.
        Ensure all marketing campaigns are effectively measured.
        Manage the transactional banking marketing budget.
        Be a custodian of the brand and values.
 
Knowledge
        A university degree at 2:1 level
        Significant marketing experience in retail banking (essential)
        Experience of launching a credit card in the UK would be advantageous 
        Demonstration of agency management experience and good project management skills
        Experience in campaign management - ability to juggle a number of different projects at once
        Creative flair and a good understanding of brand
        Ability to work with a number of different senior stakeholders
        Ability to have hands on approach
        Effective budget management skills
        Effective analytical skills
